The Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community is home to the largest group of independent artisans. If you have ever walked down the Gatlinburg strip you can see why. There are over 80 shops, studios, galleries, cafes, and lodging on the historic 8-mile loop, which is known as the Tennessee Heritage Arts & Crafts Trail. The creations found are all the hand made from cast iron, silversmiths, stained glass, photography, and many other one-of-a-kind pieces. The Arts & Craft Community is 3 miles east of downtown Gatlinburg along East Parkway (Hwy 321 North). For a list of available lodging in the downtown Gatlinburg and surrounding areas click here.
